Rock Climbing --- 11/2/2009 --- Gunks

Beautiful weather for November. I lead Twin Oaks, a new climb for me. Then Emily did a mock lead of Finger Locks, followed by a real lead... her first trad lead. Next we went to climb Arrow, and hung out at the top watching the Turkey Vultures. Back on the ground, we met up with Jen who stopped by the Gunks on the way back to Boston. The three of us climbed the first pitch of Three Doves coming down just as it got dark. Stupid daylight savings time! Not wanting to climb by headlamp, Emily and I got a pint of Ben and Jerry's (and a dozen packets of ramen... they were on sale) and drove back to Ithaca. I do have one regret... I think we should have gone with Chocolate Macadamia instead of Dublin Mudslide. Macadamia!
