Rock Climbing --- 11/2/2007 - 11/4/2007 --- Gunks

Gunks staff training weekend. Scenarios for everyone! Took Shawn and Liana up Strictly From Nowhere. Then Shawn and I rappelled to the top of No Solution and practiced haul systems while Liana climbed the 5.12 again and again. Kristin and Liana finshed the day on Horseman, then we ate at the Thai place in New Paltz.

Sunday I set Kristin up to aid Kansas City. She led the climb, walked down, and cleaned it. Lots of work. Shawn was not climbing due to an injury, but setup a rap line to take pictures of Kristin. Then Kristin and I swung leads on Grand Central. She led the 5.9 second pitch onsight, her first ever 5.9 lead. I had a blast creating my final scenario by tossing an old belay device off the cliff and making Kristin belay me on a munter.
