Rock Climbing --- 4/27/2007 - 4/29/2007 --- Peter's Kill, Gunks

Kim and I drove to the Gunks Friday afternoon and set tents for IORC and TR Staff Training. I think we spent two hours setting up five 4-person tents. Each tent was totally bomber since rain was forecast for the weekend.

Luckily, the rain just managed to hold off Saturday and Sunday. I was hanging out at Peter's Kill on Saturday. Mostly pestering the two groups. Met a guy climbing on a Silent Partner and he let me give it a try. I have to say, it was not the best solo TR device I've ever used. After dinner we had a good time bouldering by headlamp until after midnight.

Sunday I randomly met Jim and Susanna in the parking lot. The three of us climbed Bloody Mary (I got to lead the scrunchy traverse again!) followed by Ribless and then we finished the day with Dennis.
