COE staff training. Forecast of torrential rain from hurricane Ernesto. Saturday, climbed with Kristin and Ali
on Strictly From Nowhere and Jackie. Worked on anchors, hauling, institutional rappel, speed climbing and more. Ate
dinner in New Paltz and hung out until just before the rain started. Hard rain all night long. My cheap, 10 year old
tent stayed bone dry. Yea!
Sunday morning Kristin and I were married. It was a wonderful wedding and a wet honeymoon but the marriage didn't last.
We are still friends though. That day I climbed with Shern and Keith. We sat under Kansas City which didn't provide
much shelter. Found a huge nest of copperheads. Snakes on a Plane Climb.
By the end of the day the weather cleared a bit. We climbed The Brat Direct.
