Biking --- 4/30/2006 --- Ithaca

Another beautiful spring day. Stopped by the start of the 4H Duck Race at Cascadilla Park and saw Jessica. Then Marci and I drove to the Black Diamond Trail. We started biking at the Glenwood Heights crossing. Went North from there. Immediately had to get around an old railroad bridge which had been washed away (head steeply downhill, cross a small bridge near the road, head back uphill). Just North of the washout is a beautiful little grove with two waterfalls and a swimming hole. We continued North to the washed out bridge past Houghton Road. Then turned around and rode back.
