Rock Climbing --- 6/5/2005 --- Gunks

Climbing with Emilie. We climbed Moonlight, Andrew, and High Exposure. This was a booty-rific trip. I found forgotten gear at the top of Moonlight and High E. Checked the message board and gunks.com to find the owners. No luck, so the gear is mine.

While I was belaying Emilie on the second pitch of Andrew, a huge Turkey Vulture landed just 20' away from me. (Category: Rock Climbing)

While I was belaying Emilie on the second pitch of Andrew, a huge Turkey Vulture landed just 20' away from me. It hung out and fluffed its wings and talked to me a bit. Then it swooped off the cliff with a glance at me as if to say, "try this if you can."     Gunks -- 6/5/2005

The roof of Modern Times, shot from the belay ledge on High Exposure. You can see the tree growing out horizontally, then turning 90 degrees up to the sky. The route goes through the notch just below the base of the tree, then up to the tree, then up and right. Moving through the huge roof the whole time.     Gunks -- 6/5/2005
