Backpacking --- 11/4/1999 - 11/6/1999 --- Shenandoah National Park, VA

Backpacking in Shenandoah National Park. We took the Corbin Cabin Cutoff Trail to Indian Run to Corbin Mountain to Old Rag Fire Road. Spent the first night south of that road. Next day continued down the road to the Saddle Trail over Old Rag Mountain. Finished scrambling and reached the flat trail just as darkness set in. Continued to Nicholson Hollow Trail and set camp for the night. Final day we hiked up Nicholson Hollow back to Corbin Cabin and then out to the trailhead.
